Aukati KaiPaipa - Smoking Cessation

Aukati KaiPaipa is a kanohi ki te kanohi service that is delivered locally within most communities.

This programme offers Māori and their whānau, the opportunity to stop smoking through a range of services.

Services include free nicotine patches, gum and lozenges, motivational counseling and ongoing support.

The goal of the service is to reduce smoking prevalence and consumption amongst Māori and increase the number of positive changes in smoking behaviour such as maintaining smokefree environments particularly for tamariki
