Training 5 Te Wai Pounamu

Training was held at Nga Hau e Wha national Marae in Otautahi, great venue and awesome kai, so big mihi to the Ngai Tahu whanau.

The weather was great so we made the most of it by playing in the sun, sunsmart of course!

Several Rangatahi joined us on the 2nd and 3rd days, which added to the fun of Ki o Rahi, Tapuae, Poitoa and Horohopu.

We also learnt a few new games which have added to the rourou and look forward to sharing these with the rest of the country.

Was fantastic to hear some of the great work that's going on down there, lots of mahi on not so much putea.

Looking forward to next years trainings, also the up coming tournaments around the motu. Hope to see you at an event near you soon.
