Taniwha          hit the runners with the poi

Kioma             run to the opposite end of the field trying to avaiod being hit by the poi

FIELD LAYOUT

Rectangular size depending numbers playing

Safe areas at either end, middle zone kioma can be hit

RESOURCES NEEDED

RULES

taniwha attempt to hit runners in pawero

If runners are hit they join the taniwha team
last kioma running is the winner

VARIATIONS

Passing games where you have to pass to team mates

Running with the poi or throwing to hit kioma running

Can use a ki or a ball

If Poi Toa is called and a taniwha player hits a kioma player, they swap positions
